Groceries in Style

Last Monday, after lunch, we managed half an hour or so exploring the newly renamed grocer at Bangsar Shopping Center. It is now called Jasons, and I must say I was mightily impressed.

To start with, they stock plenty of stuff only found abroad. Tatley Tea for instance. We used to asked our friends coming back from England to buy us some before this. Idlan also found his Fruit Loops cereals. He used to find it in Bangsar Village, but lately, they were no longer in stock. Irfan also found his sultanas and his microwave macaroni in cheese. Everybody went home happy.

As for me, I found myself some macaroons .......

A Long Bath

Enough with the toys, now it was time for the bath. And bath they did. They spent more than half an hour already in the tub, and I was hoping they wouldn't end up with an asthma attack. The break allowed Anita to prepare dinner and I spent the time making sure they were not drowning each other. The bathroom however, was a different story. It was drenched.

After a long day they had, and now the long bath and soon after this, dinner, I was expecting them to have an early night. Not a common occurrence at the apartment I was afraid with them running riot most of the time ..... Daddy needed some time to catch up on Downton Abbey!

Lazy Sunday

It had been a long day. We left the concert just before mid day and reached Mid Valley after about 15 minutes, just before the car park was full. Even then, we only managed to find a spot right at the lowest level.

Straight away, we went to the cinema to get some tickets. Unfortunately, Avengers was nearly sold out, and the seats left were separated. Not a good idea with the boys in hyper mode. We decided to go forMen in Black instead. But more about the movie later.

Next stop was Alexis for a spot of lunch. Such a nice peaceful afternoon there, and the boys enjoyed their pizza and I did my rocket salad. After the movie, we left for our apartment, and we spent the action just lazing around. I was in the kids room most f the afternoon, blogging, surfing the net, as well as just looking at them creating the mess. Since they were on holiday tomorrow, we would be spending the evening at the apartment.

Puan Anita was enjoying catching up with some television. I still have a couple of episodes of Downton Abbey to go through tonight, and shall be enjoying them tonight. Maybe after half an hour or so in the gym, before the evening shower.

Off to the Concert

Early start today. Straight off for ward round, and back to the apartment by 8.30, waiting for the boys to get ready. We were off again by 9.30.

Idlan waiting for his turnThe choir. Not as good as the last years.The concert today was at the same venue as the last couple of years, at the HGH Convention Hall in Sentul. It was easy to get to the place but parking was a pain. We were lucky that we managed to get a spot opposite the gall, but the worry was, we may be double parked.

The boys show should finish by eleven, after which we were planning an early exit ....

Groceries Time

The weekend has arrived and it would be a busy one. It would be the start of school holidays and as expected, the town was packed. So was the trunk roads leading out KL. The boys would still be in school though but Monday would be off since tomorrow would be he school concert.

We would be at the apartment from this evening, so, a quick stop for groceries at Bangsar Village, followed by a quick dinner take-out. We tried Basil tonight. A Thai outlet, and we shall see of they were any good later.

The boys were all excited for the concert. Idlan was still buzzing from the class birthday party yesterday. Not many photographs though since the designated photographer - Irfan - had a stage freight. He kept the camera in the case instead.
