Mid-Life Crisis?

Not only that I managed to compile the Singapore links into one coherent group, I revamped the whole page as well. Instead of dark theme which I favor, everything now becomes much lighter. It may have caused havoc with my previous posts in terms of alignment, but I would be working on that. Otherwise, everything was working perfectly - the beauty of Squarespace I supposed. The chance of theme was just a click away ….

I'll keep this new theme for the next few days and see what comes of it. Some of my photos tended to come up better with a dark background. But maybe some of the other would turn up better instead. Well, why not have a change. The last theme has been up for the last 18 months. My wife must be wondering if I am going through a mid-life crisis!

Anyhow, all the links for Singapore are now up and running. Even the slideshows onto the sister photography blog were also linked up. I still have a few entry on the trips needing to be written, but I am sure I would get them done by the weekend. I'll make do with what I have at the moment.

Idiot Outrider!

After the long drive in this morning, I though I deserved a treat. Decided to head out for sushi after the last patient on my morning list. I was hungry anyway and the drive in this morning was horrible.

I didn't mind the queue at all. What got on my nerve was when the outriders came around with a VIP in an entourage and started telling people to push off. The policeman also got the cheeks to kick out at a kancil who could not move away due to the long jam. Such irresponsibility.

I wished that I have the number of the Policeman and tweet it off but they took a left turn out of DUKE after I left towards the NKVE toll. Such action was really uncalled for! Idiots!

One Album at A Time

Now, after the dust settled, it was time to start uploading the photos from the Singapore trip. The SmugMug and Flickr migration was already done last week. I had started uploading to Facebook since yesterday, and I preferred to upload them one album at a time, since there were so much interaction.

All together, there would be about 300 photos in all. Five albums, so, it would be 5 days. I would also be updating a segment on the blog about the trip as well, and put it on the drop down menu up top. That would take at least a couple of hours!

At least, I should have some free time after work today …. looking forward to that …..

p/s - by the way, I use Aperture as part of my digital workflow as you can see ....

Morning Sit

Reached work early to sort out patients from recent call. A few of them needed review this morning. Consequently I had to drive into Subang, then turn around to PJ to give a talk for a Pharmaceutical group.

I ended up waiting for the traffic to subside. The last things wanted would be to be stuck in traffic rushing from one place to another. So, time for some tea ...... and good morning .....

Rushing Through

It took me a couple of days, but finally I can say that I've recovered from the weekend on call ordeal. Sorted out the admissions and would be doing some preparations or a teaching session tomorrow for one of the Pharmaceutical company.

Clinic today ran smoothly and I would actually packed up for home rather quick so that I could finish the slides and have some time catching up with the Grammy which I recorded yesterday. Here is rushing everything through .....
