Sure was Messy

We left the boys to their own devices today wince we were out all day attending rumah terbuka and other things. When we arrived back home, the room turned into a right mess. The toys were strewn everywhere.

We got the boxes in to sort out their old toys since we planned to give some of them away she the time come for us to move on. Some of then we wanted to hand down to relatives and some we might want to keep for sentimental value.

Sorting them proved to be a challenge. So, it looked like we had to start from scratch again.

A Walk in the Park

I managed to escape early from my afternoon clinic last week to join Anita and the boys at KLCC where Idlan went to see Azida, my ENT Surgeon friend. Idlan had been troubled by rhinitis and has responded well to treatment. I arrived there late and only joined them after they had their afternoon tea.

But in time for a walk at the KLCC park, followed by dinner after.

As long as they ran around in circles, I was happyA nice breezy afternoon it wasNot sure what they were building hereBeing a Wednesday afternoon, the crowd there was a lot smaller than usual. There were people actually in the public pool, but the boys was mainly at the playground. They were already in their track bottoms from school, properly dressed for the run around.
There were renovations going around at the park, and there seemed to be a new building being erected between Suria KLCC and the mosque.

Yes Idlan, 1 more kilometresWait for me .....Time to get back to the civilisation Hopefully there were no plans to extend the development further as the park was a breath of fresh air in the middle of the city. People still jogged around there in the afternoon - which my boys tried to imitate.

We stayed there until almost 7 before heading inside for dinner. The boys were already cranky by then.

P versus Z II

Since the latest instalment of Plants versus Zombies was incompatible with the first generation iPad, my boys had been using my Retina iPad since. So, I now have no iPad. The game was that addictive. No chance for me to catch the big since ny boys had been using them since yesterday.

It looks like Idlan would be using Anita's old second generation iPad as well, since Irfan had been conquering my device. Sigh!

At least the game was free .......

Don't Press the Button

We didn't tell them that the bathroom has a jacuzzi. We thought that they won't be able to figure it out. They noticed that there were nozzles on the sides of the bath tub and it was smaller than the one we had at the old apartment. So, last night when Irfan was having a bath, Idlan got curious. He stared pressing the button on the side of the water sprouts.

He soon discovered that the water came out of the side ports and all the bubbles in the bath just practically multiplied. And the rest was history ..... or to us, a nightmare.

They only came out from the bath at 10 last night and they were at it again when I returned from clinic this afternoon. And the floor of the bathroom was flooded. It was too slippery and we had to mop the place again.

Since we only planned to leave for Gombak tomorrow, I could imagine them getting in again tonight. And tomorrow morning. They just refused to go out of the apartment even for food. Disaster!

Waiting for Berbuka

Not that they were fasting, but they were well-behaved this afternoon. They sorted out their homework and was revising for their exams tomorrow.

I wasn't sure what Anita had in mind but I guessed that she wasn't making sure that the boys weren't swapped around. Hence the shirt and their names on the back.

For today, Anita prepared chicken rice. Selamat Berbuka.
