New Year's Morning
After a good night's sleep, I was treated to nice sunny morning when I prepared to go to the hospital the morning round. Really brightened the mood.
Nice relaxing breakfast with Anita - the boys were still asleep - before having a relaxing drive to work. It barely took ten minutes from my car park to work with the traffic being so light.
But the perfection didn't last long and chaos ensue right after I started the round. Well, enough sunshine for the day.
For those having a nice easy day today, do spend time with the family. I would be doing just that this afternoon.
Drizzled
How I wished I was in bed all morning rather than having to travel across town on this cool morning. It rained in the early hours and by the time I was about to leave at 7 in the morning, it really poured.
Traffic was smooth until I reached PJ. Then Federal Highway started to clog up. And it continued so until after 10 am. I could see the bad flow from the window of my clinic. And then I felt lucky that I set off really early.
I think it would start to rain again soon. Hopefully I could escape before it start to pour ...
Thanks Heaven
It was threatening to rain when I ended my morning clinic but when reached the Doctor's Lounge after the Friday prayers, the heavens opened. And boy, did it rain?
Nice breeze instead of the hot sun while walking to and from the mosque, and I was lucky that it only started to rain when I got back to the hospital. It rained but wasn't as heavy as it was on Thursday. Thursday's storm was a major one!
Rain and Tennis
20 minutes to get to Jalan Duta but took double the tune to reach Subang after that. It poured but luckily I left early and the traffic was lighter than I expected. It was torrential when I finally settled in.
I pity those who set off later as I could see the Kewajipan elevated road was already full leading into the Federal Highway.
As per usual, heavy rain would mean clinic cancellation. So, let's watch tennis instead. And Nadal was absolutely destroying Robredo. They should've had a standing eight count, or better still, just stop the fight early! Maybe he's sending a message to Federer to give it up as he was knocked out by Robredo in the earlier round.
True enough, Nadal gave Robredo a right bashing.
