Quick Drink

A quick drink at the Lounge after arriving to the hospital extra early, not realising that it was the school holiday. So, I got to the ward well before 8, and finished the rounds by 8.45. Better chill before leaving as I don't think there would be any patients waiting at ParkCity.

Full Week

Suffice to say that I had been busy for the last few days. Too busy to pen down an entry, although I had been tweeting quite a lot. I guessed I should've had an extra couple of days off. But the work days had been long.

Saturday came and it was time to chill a bit. We would be attending a birthday party this afternoon in Shah Alam, and Anita had been out all morning visiting her friend who had recently had a baby. I was waiting for her to return before we set out again, plus the boys.

But in saying that, Anita organised for us to go out to watch a movie last night at Pavilion. Luckily I didn't have to do the driving. I was too tired after work. More about what we watched later. Needed to get change for the afternoon out.

Glorious Sunrise

On call today. And was called in last night. As the call came by around midnight, I decided against returning to Gombak and spent the night at the apartment instead. And I was treated with a glorious sunrise this morning straight into my bedroom.

Shame that I had to go to work early this morning. I would have loved to have a nice cup of coffee, enjoying the sumptuous morning. Well, I have to go earn a living .......

Long Week

Sure had been a long one. During the week, we sorted out our move into the new apartment, done my calls, cover for my colleagues who were away among other things. Hardly time to settle down. And the calls had been busy as well. I topped up the weekend with talks and meetings yesterday. Yes, on a Saturday. Even my boys were complaining that I wasn't around. And they often don't complain.

So, Sunday was welcomes, and I planned for a bit of me time later today. I had a couple of errands to do late on, but the ward round would come first this morning.

The boys had also just finished their school assessment and was hoping for some chill out time. Maybe I'll take them to the park later this week. I also found out that I may be a blue to arrange for an extended weekend in a couple of weeks time. That should be fun ....... That would allow me to get some banking and other personal stuff done. Not to mention some down time, and maybe a weekend out of town ......

Back to the Old Routine

With the office opening tomorrow after the CNY break, am expecting heavy traffic. Will be on call again tomorrow, with a morning clinic at Desa ParkCity. Hopefully the call would be a reasonable as I was concerned that with the crowd coming back to town, they might be bringing their illness along with them. But enough rough grumbling.

It looked my boys had had too much sugar tonight. They were still running around the room after each other. Luckily they were off the whole week. Sri Utama would only be opened next Monday. A relief for Anita since we would be moving into the new apartment this weekend. Again another reason to pray for a reasonable on call tomorrow.

Time to wind down and hit the sack. Good night all. And form those returning back to work tomorrow, I feel you .......
